The project was launched at a conference in Copenhagen on 18 September 2008
Four North European engineer organisations invited to a conference focused on innovation, planning and sustainable energy technologies. The conference kicked off the climate project. The challenge is how to get a 2◦ Celsius temperature rise scenario on track.
The following speakers among others participated in the conference: Jørgen Henningsen, Senior Advisor for the European Policy Centre, Dolf Gielen, International Energy Agency (IEA) and Nebojsa Nakicenovic, Professor of Energy Economics at the Vienna University of Technology and Coordinating Lead Author of Fourth Assessment Report of the IPCC, 2002 to 2007.
You can find all presentations from the conference and video from the morning program on this site.
