Article of the Month – February 2009
On the FIG web site we publish each month a paper called the Article of the Month. This is a high-level paper focusing on interesting topics to all surveyors. It can be picked up from an FIG conference or another event. The Article of the Month in February 2009 is written by Prof. Kauko Viitanen from Finland and Ms. Ibimina Kakulu from Nigeria. Their paper “Global Concerns in Compulsory Purchase and Compensation Processes” was prepared and presented as a presentation at the FIG Working Week in Stockholm, Sweden 14-19 June 2008.
