Bankruptcy and suspension of payments
If you are not getting paid, you have to take action immediately. IDA helps you with what you need to do when your employer files for bankruptcy or suspends payments.

Children and maternity leave
If you have any questions concerning your terms of employment when you are or are going to become a parent, IDA can inform you about the guidelines for the various segments of the Danish labour market. For example, you can ask us about maternity leave, parental leave, care days, and caring for sick children.

Employment and contracts
IDA offers personalised advice on employment contracts and terms of employment. If you would like an IDA employee to take a look at your contract, please mail it to memberservice.

Establishing and running your own business
Are you self-employed? IDA can give you advice, regardless of whether you call yourself a freelancer, free agent, contract employee, project worker, or small-business owner. IDA focuses on the complexities of consultancy agreements.

Fixed-term and temporary employment
What are your rights and responsibilities as a fixed-term or temporary employee at a business?

General terms of employment
IDA offers further advice on general terms of employment like working hours, stipulations, copyright, fringe benefits, etc.

Holiday, time off, and leave of absence
IDA provides you with an overview of your rights to holiday, leaves of absence, and time off work.

Illness
Learn about your rights and responsibilities when you fall ill. Find out about, for example, rules concerning sick notes and illness during pregnancy.

Pay
What pay do you deserve? What does your pay include? Pension, fringe benefits, etc.? Contact IDA to find out.

Resignation, dismissal, and suspension
IDA can advise you in case you are fired from your job. IDA will also answer your questions concerning remaining holiday time, reasons for dismissal, and the length of your own and your employer’s terms of notice.

Stress and the psychological working environment
Workers are increasingly falling ill due to stress and poor psychological working environments. IDA provides tools that will help you avoid literally getting sick of your work.

Tax
IDA does not advise on tax issues. Please consult the Danish tax authority.
