As a student member of IDA, you will get access to a variety of professional, social and financial benefits, which will be of value both during and after your studies.
Professional and social benefits
You can take part in events at your place of study or elsewhere, with around 1,500 IDA events being held each year. As well as gaining new knowledge, you will have the opportunity to network with other students and professionals.
You will also receive our weekly magazine, Ingeniøren, delivered to e-mail inbox, keeping you updated with the latest developments within the fields of IT, technology and science. Ingeniøren is published in Danish, but this can help you to keep abreast of technical terminology.
Financial benefits
IDA offers what is probably Denmark’s cheapest and best insurance cover, and naturally this is also true of its student policies. You can also benefit from favourable rates through IDA Bank and get discounts on purchases from 3,700 retailers.
Free membership
The first membership year after enrolling as a student member of IDA is free, although engineering students and students of natural science studies at Aalborg University must be members of the local student organisation in order to qualify for free membership.
