IEF means ”The Engineer’s Fund for Continuous Training” . IEF offers career counseling and –courses to engineers and related technical professionals (M.Sc.).
Career counseling
We can give you advice when you consider your career development in general, or when you are interested in looking for a new job. When you are going for a specific job, you can have assistance on the making of your job application and your CV, as well as we can give advice on your job interview.
Give us a call or send us a mail if you need our assistance. Usually we respond within 24 hours (working days) after your call or your mail. Depending on your needs, we will either communicate by phone or mail, or invite you to a personal meeting with one of our counselors. Our assistance is free of charge.
Courses
IEF offers a range of courses that will suit you in all phases of your career, whether you have just graduated, are in your mid-career, or are considering how to plan for your last working years. All courses are held in Danish. You can have an overview here.
Subsidized courses if you are unemployed
If you are formally registered as being unemployed, you are eligible to receive a 55 percent grant towards skills upgrading courses held in Denmark or abroad. You can see more on this subject here.

If you want a personal meeting with one of our counselors, you’ll need to make an appointment beforehand. A personal meeting usually lasts 1 hour.
