If you are an unemployed engineer or MSc., you are entitled to receive a grant towards relevant skills upgrading courses.
You may receive a 55% grant
You are eligible to receive a 55 percent grant towards skills upgrading courses held in Denmark or abroad. The grant is provided for technical skills, language skills and for personal development courses, seminars and conferences, etc.
The grant includes payment of course fees and transportation expenses equivalent to the cheapest available public transportation. (2nd Class with Danish Rail, Bus, etc.)
You can apply for the grant if you are an engineer or hold an MSc Degree and are registered as unemployed with an unemployment insurance fund. Engineers and MSc.'s in terminated positions are also eligible to seek a grant. Please provide documentation in support of your current employment status.
