Kl. 16:45 Ships and digitized propulsion by Henrik Striboldt, Senior Business Development Manager, MAN Energy Solutions Gathering data on engine parts and consumables that need attention, can improve maintenance cycles and planning – for higher propulsion system availability and efficiency. At the same time, data security must have the highest priority to protect any collected information. MAN CEON is MAN Energy Solutions’ umbrella brand for all its digital products. This presentation will provide insight to the data collection possible on modern two-stroke engines, on shore processing of the data and potential usage of the engine data. The usage of the engine data will be illustrated by cases on the detection of cylinder liner scuffing and engine performance optimisation.
