Viet Pham & Niels W. Falk, HDlab: Byggepladsrobotterne kommer – er verden klar til det?
Byggepladserne står overfor en digital revolution, som giver skelsættende nye muligheder, hvis bare branchen tør bruge dem. Vi viser konkrete byggepladscases på robotter, digitale modeller, automatiseret og generativt design, exo-skeletter, FM-systemer og blockchains fra vores laboratorium i BLOXHUB.

Niels og Viet fra HD Lab har begge en baggrund på byggepladserne i den danske entreprenørbranche og arbejder i dag, som nogen af de førende inden for digital teknologi til byggebranchen.

Hans-Jörg Schulz, Institut for Datalogi, AU: Data Visualization Done Right
Any data is only as good as the visualization that communicates it to analysts, decision makers, and the public.But what makes a “good” visualization and how can we construct it?

Hans-Jörg Schulz is an Associate Professor at Aarhus University and works in the fields of Information Visualization and Visual Analytics.

Jess Alfredsen & Sebastian Steenssøn, Damvad Analytics: From 0 to a crowd sourced neutral network in a jiffy
During the talk we will showcase a complete production-grade NLP pipeline. The crowd will annotate text through Docccano and instantly see their efforts take effect in a continuously updated neural network.

Jess Alfredsen is a Senior Data Scientist in the data science Consultancy DAMVAD Analytics. Sebastian Steenssøn is a Senior Data Scientist in the data science Consultancy DAMVAD Analytics.

Sabine Oechsner, AU: Blockchain research at Aarhus University
The Concordium Blockchain Research Center at Aarhus University conducts basic research on blockchain technology, cryptography, and related areas. Researchers in the center are concerned with questions such as energy efficiency, speed, scalability, privacy, and formal verification. This talk will give an overview over the center's research.

Sabine Oechsner is a postdoctoral researcher at the Concordium Blockchain Research Center at Aarhus University, working in the field of cryptography and its intersection with formal methods.

Søren Dahlgaard, co-founder SupWiz: Customer Service Al - from crapbot to chatbot
Customer service is undergoing a transformation driven by advances in AI technology. In this talk I will present examples of successful AI chatbots from the real world and discuss some of the key technology behind and challenges that we have overcome.

Søren is co-founder and Chief AI Officer of SupWiz. SupWiz builds AI solutions for customer service and support including chatbots, emailbots, and more. SupWiz’ customers include NNIT, ATP, Municipality of Copenhagen, One.com, and many more.
Søren has a background as PhD in algorithms and machine learning and is a 4-time national champion in programming. In 2019, Søren was a co-recipient of the Grand Solutions Prize, which is the largest Innovation Prize awarded by the Danish Minister of Science and Higher Education.

Sine Zambach, CBS: Frame the slide - story telling with data
Practicing science communication to kids and public helps you telling the complex story about data to your boss or the administrative layer. I will try to give some examples of my own experiences and tips on how to train this skill.

Sine Zambach works with analytics at CBS and holds a PhD in Computer Science, a master in Bioinformatics and has a varied background in science communication in Danish.

Jesper Kildegaard Poulsen, Nets: Biometri i betalinger
Betalinger i butikker har gået gennem en hurtige udvikling over de sidste 10 år. I dag bruger flere og flere deres mobiltelefon. Spørgsmålet er så hvad bliver det næste? En mulighed kunne være at du i fremtiden betaler med dig selv. Kom og hør hvordan mulighederne med biometri undersøges og testes for at sikre de rigtige betalingsløsninger i fremtiden.

Jesper Kildegaard Poulsen leder et Innovations lab hos betalingsfirmaet Nets hvor der eksperimenteres i fremtidens betalings muligheder.

Mikkel F. Krogsholm & Mads Krogsholm, Turbolex: Sådan digitaliserer man spaghetti bolognese
Mads og Mikkel er brødre. De bruger begge deres arbejdsdage på algoritmer. Den ene som kok og direktør i flere Aarhusianske restauranter, hvor algoritmerne er opskrifter på dagens kulinariske kreationer. Den anden som data scientist med erfaring fra store internationale firmaer, hvor algoritmerne er formler og kode, der skal give indsigter og ny viden.

Sammen har de sat sig for at se på, hvordan data kan høstes og bruges i en restaurantsbranche, der normalt ikke er særlig datadreven. I dette oplæg fortæller de begge om, hvilke problemer restaurantsbranchen står overfor, hvordan de problemer kan tackles med bedre data, og ikke mindst hvordan de selv har grebet det an.

Mads Freltoft Krogsholm er uddannet kok og direktør i Jakobsen & Co, der blandt andet driver en lang række ikoniske restauranter og cafeer langs åen i Aarhus. Mikkel Freltoft Krogsholm er senior data scientist i Teradata, der har kunder over hele verden. Derudover er han Founder af startup virksomheden Turbolex.
