Ethical Hacking: Social engineering, privacy, social media

The session focuses on non-technical ethical hacking. The typical interpretation of ethical hacking is that you need to learn about tools and programming, however hacking can also entail observation skills and weak links sharing a bit too much information

Bring your computer and start hacking with Aalborg University's cybersecurity training platform Haaukins, no installation needed. Haaukins is a cyber security training platform which can grant you a Kali Linux machine or a "hackerlab", where we can start doing ethical hacking.

You will get to try hands-on cyber security challenges within topics of social engineering, privacy and social engineering - along with some tips and tricks on protecting yourself against common threats. Research assistants and students of Aalborg University and Copenhagen Business School will be there to guide you through the session.

You will get to try solve challenges, while you are able to ask the team of AAU and CBS for help. Since some of the developers of the challenges will be present, they might also ask some questions regarding your experience with these challenges.

This event is beginner-friendly, and it does not require any technical background to solve challenges!

Food will be served at 18:00.
