This presentation introduces the foundational concepts of quantum information and quantum computing, including qubits, superposition, entanglement, and quantum observables. The main physical technologies used to realize quantum computers are outlined, and their impact on the types of computations that can be performed, such as adiabatic computing and gate-based quantum algorithms, is discussed.
An overview of the structure and role of quantum algorithms is provided. T
The presentation concludes with a perspective on the emerging applications of quantum computing in artificial intelligence.
