Cecilie Strømsnes will share insights from her participation in ESA Academy’s CubeSat Summer School and explain how it shaped her understanding of satellite development and mission planning.
The talk will highlight her role as Student Lead and Program Coordinator for the Danish Student CubeSat Program (DISCO), a nationwide student‑driven initiative developing ambitious CubeSat missions in collaboration with universities and industry partners.
Cecilie will introduce the DISCO program and take a closer look at the DISCO‑2 mission, outlining its technical objectives, organizational structure, and what it takes to run a large‑scale student satellite project.
