More practical information at the bottom of the page.

Fredensborg Castle is where the monarch spends most of her time hosting many grand royal events.

Join us as we explore the interiors, including Thomas Kluge's painting "The Royal Family," the Dome Hall where the Crown Prince Couple danced their wedding waltz, and the church featuring Per Kirkeby's large ceiling painting.

Outside, discover the restored Brede Alle, the Queen's new seasonal garden, the herb garden, and the Orangery, where flowers are grown for castle bouquets. In the Orangery, you'll have the opportunity to purchase plants, books, and wine from the Royal Family's castle in Cayx during guided tours.

Meeting Point: Participants should meet at the Castle Church (see the signpost at the main entrance).

The tour begins promptly at 10:30 AM, so please arrive early.

Please be aware that parking spaces near the castle are limited.

Luggage: For safety reasons you are only allowed to bring a small handbag in the castle. If you bring other bags these must be stored in the bag cabinets in the arrival area.

After the tour, we'll head to Skipperhuset in Sørup, Skipper Alle 6, for a well-deserved lunch. If you require special dietary requests, please email dan.skov@m.ida.dk .

If you're delayed, please call 2276 1495
