The application of journal bearing technology in gear design including bearings for main shafts will be covered in this workshop. The presentations will include the current state of practice in e.g. wind turbine gearbox design and include service, lifetime as operational learnings and challenges in comparison to classical rolling element bearing technology.
The workshop will also include experiences in journal bearing technology during standstill.
