Vi vil her gennemgå, hvordan man bruger AI til mønstergenkendelse. Vi ser på, hvordan man får det optiske over til et format, der kan bruges i den videre databehandling.

[DK] I denne aften bliver Python og open-source libraries anvendt til at bearbejde billeder af Sudoku spil/matricer. Derefter bruger vi en rekursiv algoritme til at løse selve Sudoku opgaven uanset sværhedsgrad. Aftenen satser på at være begynder venlig, vi kommer til at få et setup til at køre på egne maskiner og der anvendes allerede eksisterende kode.
I løbet af processen få man lidt overblik i:
- billede preprocessering trins og sammensætning
- brug af OCR libraries der indeholder neurale netværk under "motorhjelmen"
- brug af Jupyter notebooks, Python og Visual Studio Code som algoritme prototyping værktøjs kæde

- a) Python3 installeret, sammen med de følgende libraries:
Vi bruger også Jupyter notebooks med en Python kernel som er meget
nemt at arbejde med i
b) Visual Studio Code. Vi hjælper gerne med de setup
problemer, med vær selv parat hjemmefra så vid muligt da installationen
kan tage tid. En installation guide blive sendt før arrangementet.

[EN] This evening we will use
Python and open-source libraries to process Sudoku images into a numerical
matrice form. Thereafter a recursive algorithm is used to solve the actual
Sudoku task irrespective of the level of difficulty. The evening is meant to be
beginner friendly, and we will setup-up and use already available code.
During the workshop we will get a bit of an overview of:
- image processing
steps and overall pipeline
- use of OCR libraries
that work with trained neural networks under the hood
- use of Jupyter notebooks,
Python and Visual Studio Code as tools for algorithm prototyping
Please take with you:
- own laptop, with
a) Python3 installed, together with the following libraries: a1) opencv
a2) tessaract and a3) easy ocr. We use also Jupyter notebooks with a
Python kernel which are very easy to use in
b) Visual Studio Code. We will help with installation problems, but please be prepared ahead of time by installing as much as possible of the required components, since both the
downloads and installation can take time. An installation guide will be sent
out before the event.
