It can be confusing to understand how Finance works. If you have ever scratched your supply chain head, because you didn’t understand the financial calculations behind a supply chain/production decision, then this event is for you.
We will first get an understanding of the principles of product costing and the meaning of net-working capital. Lars Buch Jensen will explain the overall calculations and concepts in a way that supply chainers can understand.
After a break, Rasmus Hammer will guide us to understand how financial calculations differ from “real money”. He will show examples where the calculation methods lead to decisions based on flawed financial reasoning, and he will discuss how to think in a better way for taking decisions.
We will end with a shared Q&A where you will have the opportunity to ask questions to both Lars and Rasmus.
A sandwich will be served in the break.
About the speakers
Lars Buch Jensen is an experienced supply chain controller and finance business partner. He has experience from many different industries.
Rasmus Hammer is an independent Theory of Constraints consultant. He also started out as a controller but switched lanes to work with optimizing production flow based on Theory of Constraints principles.
