Digital sovereignty, cyber sovereignty, technological sovereignty and data sovereignty are taking up more and more space in Danish news stories. These are terms that refer to the ability to have control over one's own digital destiny. To have control over your data, your hardware and the software you depend on and create. But how do you achieve this as a private individual?
At the workshop, Kenneth Vangborg and his helpers will give you concrete guidance on how to move away from American digital services to alternative European services without compromising your ability to be digitally efficient.
We will support 3 of the following clusters:
- Switch from Windows to Linux
- Take control of your personal online communication and switch to Signal
- Manage your accesses with EU-based Password Manager
Remember to bring the equipment you would like help changing (computer/mobile) as well as cables. Also remember to bring external storage to make backups of your files so you don't lose any data.
Workshop Lead
Kenneth Vangborg is an experienced IT consultant and senior advisor who advises on digital sovereignty and geopolitical IT strategy at Attitude-IT. Kenneth helps Danish and European organizations identify risks, develop exit strategies from supplier dependencies and establish emergency preparedness. All based on the global turmoil.
