Hacker Night

Do you think cyber security and hacking sounds interesting, but finding it hard to know where to start? Or maybe you have already taken the first steps, and want to learn more in a good and social atmosphere? Then join our Hacker Night on September 9, 2026, from 17.00 to 21.00 in collaboration between Campfire Security, Cyberskills, IDA Connect,  IDA DataCompliance, and Aalborg University. The night is centered around hands-on hacking on the Campfire Security platform, but you will not be alone since there will be plenty of demonstrations and explanations of some of the underlying theories.

The main focus will be on network security and web security, so be prepared to learn about network monitoring, network scanning, vulnerable websites and a general hacker mindset.

The event is well suited for beginners, so we don’t expect you to have prior knowledge on cyber security and hacking - but if you do, you are still most welcome, and we will make sure to bring enough challenges for everyone.

The most important is to bring yourself and a computer (no special software required).

IDA Connect will offer offer light catering of sandwiches and soda.
