You can also explore the offerings of the more than 70 exhibitors from all parts of the value chain.  

At 11:15 you can hear a fast-paced inspirational talk by Erik Moth-Müller from Positive Plastics where you get introduced to 34 new plastic materials with a reduced environmental impact. 

Among the many materials you can discover a fibre-reinforced plastic composite made from milk cartons, a pleasant-smelling plastic filled with spent grain from beer production, and a polypropylene derived from cooking oil. The collection of materials also includes less exotic materials such as bioplastics derived from corn or oil from the castor bean plant, wood-filled bio-composites, and high-quality recyclates. 

After the talk we have an informal network lunch where you can meet other members of the Engineering Society while you explore moulded samples of the 34 materials.
