MTP Nordic Summit 2026
The MTP Nordic Summit 2026 is jointly organized by IDA Mechanical – Smart Manufacturing and the ISPE Nordic Community of Practice Pharma 4.0. The event will take place on April 17, 2026, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The summit serves as a European platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration around Module Type Package (MTP) 2.0, modular plants, and modular automation concepts across the process industries.
What is the Goal of MTP Nordic Summit 2026?
The goal of the MTP Nordic Summit 2026 is to foster an open and practice-oriented exchange on MTP 2.0, with a strong focus on best-practice examples and lessons learnt from real industrial implementations.
The summit aims to demonstrate how modular plant design and modular automation can accelerate engineering, increase flexibility, and support digital transformation. In addition, it seeks to strengthen and further develop a living MTP ecosystem by connecting manufacturers, suppliers, integrators, and technology providers.
What is Target Audience?
The MTP Nordic Summit 2026 brings together professionals from the process industries and discrete manufacturing who are involved in or interested in modular plants and modular automation.
The target audience includes a strong mix of:
- Pharmaceutical Manufacturers
- Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management & Commissioning Contractors
- Skid and Package Unit Manufacturers
- System Integrators
- Automation Equipment Suppliers
- Engineering, Digitalization, and Operations Experts
The summit is relevant for decision-makers and practitioners shaping the future of modular manufacturing.
What is the Added Value for the Target Audience?
Participants will gain practical insights, real-world experience, and actionable strategies for the efficient design, integration, and operation of modular plants based on MTP.
Through expert presentations and use cases, attendees will learn how MTP can:
- Reduce engineering effort and time-to-market
- Improve interoperability and scalability
- Enable flexible and future-proof manufacturing concepts
The summit provides valuable networking opportunities within the European and international MTP community.
