Operational planning and scheduling define what to buy, produce, or deliver and how to do it. But creating an operational plan can be like puzzle solving with moving pieces. So, how can we deal with complexity and uncertainty?

In this presentation Jonas Emil Rex Justesen, Associate Partner at Zillion Consulting Group, will introduce the most common challenges in operational planning and scheduling and present methods and principles to help you make a good planning process.

The presentation will cover these questions and topics:

  • What are the tasks and decisions to take?
  • What are the challenges?
  • What characterizes a good operational planning process?
  • Different methods and principles
  • Planning with uncertainty and managing the unexpected
  • Dos and don’ts
  • What to consider when choosing technology

The discussion will include examples and dilemmas from real cases.

Join us to learn about best practices in operational planning and scheduling.

A sandwich will be served in the break.

The presentation will be held in English.

The event is the third in a Supply Chain Planning Academy series under development. View the previous events here:
