In this session we start out with understanding sustainability in a SCM context. What is scope 1,2 and 3 emisions, what other parametres than emisions do we consider and which rules and regulations are we following in EU. Next you will gain an understanding of how the LCA methodology is made and why the full product life cycle is important in a sustainbility context. 

Speakers:

  •  Henrik Knak - leading sustainability partner in Unify Partners will talk about the current trends and topics in
    sustainable supply chains and why sustainability is here to stay as a fly in. Henrik is
    examiner at DTU targeting Suatainability and Operations, and are involved in a
    seminar series on Decoupling the Construction industry. 
  • Manon Chloé Villers – is a PhD student fromnDTU Construct and the Centre for Absolute Sustainability in
    her final year. She will reveal the findings of a PhD research project she isfinalizing, and a 2026 seminar series focusing on ‘Decoupling’, i.e. how a company succeed in building a supply chain-based business model where growing revenue results in reduced overall emissions. The initiative and findings focus on the Construction industry which represents ~40% of the total CO2 emissions in Denmark.  
  • Albert Brønd Wendelboe will introduce Sustainable Value Chain and relevant legislation in the area and thereby provide you with an understanding of the general ESG and sustainability topics in a company. He will instruct you in how to assess your impact and low-hanging fruits using LCA in supply chain operations. Albert is Master in Sustainable Design Engineering at Aalborg University and Head of Sustainability in Contour Design, a market leader in the research, development and design of ergonomic computer mouse solutions such as RollerMouse, Unimouse and Multimedia Controller. Going through a real case from Contour Albert will detail out how sustainability / LCA is done in practice and how you could apply the methodolgy on own value chains.

After the break you will be introduced to a case study we will use to do a small assessment during the evening using the presented tools and the different handles to lower your supply chain impact. How low can you go…?

By the end of this session, you’ll have a clear understanding of sustainable supply chains and a good understanding of how you could lead the way forward within your own valuechain to improve sustainability.

As this is also the last session of our cources series there will also be a ceremony of handing our certificates for those who have attended all 6 courses.

If you are unable to attend, please remember to cancel your registration. A "no show" fee of 200 DKK (300 DKK for non-members) will be charged if you do not cancel, or if you cancel after the cancellation deadline.
