TwinShip ( Integrated Digital TWIN Framework to enable Green SHIP Operations towards Zero Emission Vessels ) is a Horizon Europe Project, lasting for a 36-month period from 1st Feb. 2025 – 31st Jan 2028, with the goal of advancing maritime digitalization for decarbonization.
The TwinShip Consortium of 11 partners unites leading maritime technology providers, shipping companies, classification societies, ports, software developers, and research institutions, who together are developing an open-source digital twin platform of a vessel, powered by data, advanced AI/ML, and Digital Twin technologies. TwinShip is developing voyage optimization applications for both current vessels and futuristic vessel concepts.
At the heart of TwinShip is a DT-enabled Decision Support System (DSS) designed to support the industry’s digital transformation, accelerate decarbonization pathways and enable the adoption of clean fuels, renewable energy & unmanned vessels.
Come hear presentations from the TwinShip project Coordinator as well as several of the Consortium member partners on the latest status and developments in the project.
