Collaborating with your network coordinator
All communities in IDA have a network coordinator whose primary role is to be a link between the board and the members. The network coordinator also helps to motivate, engage and support the board to organise good member events.
Your network coordinator takes care of marketing the community's events, and is happy to help improve your marketing texts if you need it.
Your network coordinator handles the tasks associated with your community, such as:
- Preparation of newsletters for marketing events for IDA members
- Help with setting up conferences or major events; including collaborative arrangements with other associations outside of IDA
- For webinars and hybrid meetings, your network coordinator will ensure that the meeting system is set up and the technical setup is coordinated.
- Booking of premises and catering for board meetings and member meetings taking place in the IDA houses in Aalborg, Aarhus and Odense.
- In the IDA building in Copenhagen, you must inquire about booking rooms yourself via the form on My IDA
- Posting of documents submitted via the travel expense form on IDA.dk
- At conferences and larger events, your network coordinator will, if possible, be present at registration.
Your network coordinator is also happy to come by and say hello at a board meeting if you need it. The meeting should preferably be in an IDA building or online.
Collaboration between IDA volunteers and IDA employees
IDA members can help shape IDA themselves. Being a volunteer in IDA should be attractive, and there are many opportunities to volunteer for a shorter or longer period of time. The diversity among IDA volunteers is great, and to ensure a common basis for cooperation between IDA's volunteer members and IDA employees, IDA's Executive Board has drawn up a number of principles for volunteer work in IDA.
