Create an event on IDA's website
Guide: how to create events on IDA's website
Participation fee
You/the board set the participation fee for the different events.
You set the participation fee taking into account the event's budget - should the event be cost-neutral, should it make a profit or should it make a loss, what is the price level for comparable offers and what price is your target group able to pay?
At social events, it is possible to create options such as companions, children, etc. and here it is a good idea to set the price higher than the membership price.
Keep in mind that too high a membership price can scare participants away - too low a membership price can signal ‘lack of quality’.
Deadline for cancelling one's registration
If a meeting participant wants to deregister, they can do so via our meeting portal, and they can also deregister even if the cancellation deadline has passed. However, if the cancellation deadline has passed, they will not receive a refund.
The reason we have chosen this solution is that it gives you a better overview of how many people are actually coming, which will hopefully reduce the number of no-shows. In addition, it allows participants on the waiting lists to join.
Zendesk
We have chosen to use IDA's support system to handle cases regarding IDA's meeting system. The system is called Zendesk.
How to create a case
Cases are created via http://support.ida.dk (in Danish). Go to the link and fill in all the fields. Under affiliation, it is very important that you select 'parliamentarian' so that the case goes to the right person. Below you can see an example of a completed case.
Once you have created a case, you will receive an email with a case number and a link from which you can access the case. You will receive an email when there are replies or changes to the case. You can choose to reply to the email and your reply will be added to the case, or you can write in the case by logging in to http://support.ida.dk via the link in the email.
Follow your case and see closed cases
You can follow your case and see previous cases by going to http://support.ida.dk and clicking ‘Log in’. Here you enter your email and password for Zendesk. If you have forgotten your password or haven't created one yet, you can change/order it by clicking ‘I forgot my password’ and creating your account.
