Harnessing the power of mobile eye tracking for user research

Eye tracking can reveal valuable insights into how people interact with products, but it’s not without its drawbacks—it can be costly and time-consuming. So, when is it truly worth the effort? In this talk, I’ll present a study using mobile eye tracking to explore how users engage with and manipulate physical items, and explore different kinds of insights we can gather from such data. I’ll discuss the key factors to consider when deciding if eye tracking is the right approach to answering your questions, and when you might be better served by other research methods.

Bio: Aleksandra is a cognitive scientist and researches all aspects of users' interactions with physical and digital products.
