IDA has once again been named Denmark's best trade union
Which trade union is the best in Denmark? If you ask the members, it’s IDA. IDA’s satisfied members have once again placed IDA at the top of the list of Danish trade unions.
That is the conclusion of the "Industry Index Trade Unions 2026", which examines Danes’ satisfaction with and loyalty to their trade unions.
IDA was also named the best Danish trade union in the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 survey.
IDA scores highly on member benefits, products and credibility
In Loyalty Group's industry survey, the trade unions are assessed on criteria such as service quality, value for money and trust and ethics. And in addition, the members assess their trade unions' image and ability to look after the members' interests and customer service.
In 2026, IDA scored highest on the following statements:
- Denmark’s most loyal trade union members
- The best member benefits
- The best public reputation
- The most trustworthy trade union
- The best digital solutions for members
- The highest rating for social responsibility
- The highest rating for product quality
The “Trade Union Industry Index” is conducted once a year by the Loyalty Group.
The survey examines the satisfaction and loyalty of over 2,500 Danish trade union members towards their trade union.
Loyalty Group has asked members of organisations including IDA, DJØF, DM, Lederne, Det Faglige Hus, ASE, Krifa, FOA and HK about their experiences with, amongst other things, complaint handling, service quality, value for money and the trade union’s reputation.
