At IDA, we believe that learning never stops. Technology and the job market are evolving rapidly, making continuous learning more important than ever. That’s why we’re launching IDA Learn & Earn.

“At IDA, we believe that learning leads to more learning – and that continuous development is key to long-term success. Our members are knowledge professionals who already value lifelong education. With this new initiative, we want to make it even more attractive to engage in professional development through IDA – and to highlight the importance of lifelong learning throughout your career,” says Dorthe Thyrri Rasmussen, Head of Competence and Learning at IDA.

IDA members already have access to high-quality courses. Now, the new bonus programme makes it even more rewarding – both professionally and personally – to keep developing your skills. 

Here’s how it works: 

  • Earn points – Each time you attend a course from IDA Learning, you earn points. The more you learn, the more points you collect.
  • Redeem points – Use your points on a wide range of rewards that support your learning, wellbeing, and everyday life – aligned with IDA’s values of lifelong development, balance, and responsibility. 
  • Keep growing – The programme is designed to motivate you to stay on your learning journey and make the most of the many opportunities IDA offers.

IDA has a long tradition of supporting members’ professional development through events, conferences, workshops and much more. With IDA Learn & Earn, we’re taking the next step: Members receive a concrete benefit from actively engaging in their own learning and upskilling. 

“We want to strengthen the learning culture among our members. It should be easy, motivating, and valuable to invest in yourself – and we believe this programme can make a real difference,” says Dorthe Thyrri Rasmussen. 
 
Initially, IDA Learn & Earn is being launched as a pilot programme. Points can currently be earned by participating in courses from IDA Learning. If the initiative is well received, it may be expanded over time. 
 
“We’re starting with a hands-on model and will evaluate as we go. Member feedback will be crucial in shaping the future of the programme,” Dorthe Thyrri Rasmussen concludes.

How to redeem your Learn & Earn Points

IDA Learn & Earn: Invest in Your Development 

When you learn something new, you don’t just enhance your skills – you also increase your value in the job market and open new doors in your professional life. At IDA, we want to support you in that effort. 
 
IDA Learn & Earn is for those who know that learning doesn’t stop once you’ve graduated.

This new membership benefit rewards you every time you participate in an IDA Learning course. You earn points that you can redeem for a variety of benefits supporting your learning, wellbeing, and everyday life. 

You decide how to use your points. Save them up over time or redeem them as you go.

How It Works 

When you sign up for and attend a course with IDA Learning, you earn points. The more you learn, the more points you collect. Each course page displays how many points you earn for participating. 
 
You can redeem your earned points for a variety of benefits that support both your professional development and your everyday life balance.

You can also use your points to get a discount on your next IDA Learning course. 

How Do I Earn Points?

You earn points every time you participate in a course offered by IDA Learning. 
 
The number of points depends on the course duration:

1 day = 10 points 
2 days = 20 points 
3 days = 30 points 
4 days = 40 points 
5 days = 50 points 
6 days = 60 points 
 
You can begin redeeming your points once you have collected at least 30 points.

How to Get Started

You automatically earn points by participating in courses from IDA Learning. Points are valid for 24 months after course completion. 

As an IDA member, there’s nothing you need to do – we register your participation automatically. You choose whether to spend your points along the way or save them for larger rewards.

Terms and Conditions

Only IDA members who participate in IDA Learning courses earn points. Points will be credited within 14 days after course completion. Points are personal and non-transferable.

Points are valid for 24 months. After that, they will automatically expire.

For courses longer than one day, you can choose between earning points or receiving a fixed discount for a future IDA Learning course.

In the pilot phase, point tracking and redemption are handled manually. Contact idalearning@ida.dk to check your balance or fill out the redemption form.

Points will not be awarded for cancelled or withdrawn courses, and they will be forfeited if you cancel your IDA membership.

Redeem Your Learn & Earn Points 

The points you earn through IDA Learn & Earn can be redeemed for a range of benefits that support your learning, wellbeing, and everyday life – in line with IDA’s values of lifelong development, balance, and responsibility.

Point Values:

30 points = DKK 500 gift card 
40 points = DKK 600 gift card 
50 points = DKK 800 gift card 
60 points = DKK 900 gift card 
70 points = DKK 1,100 gift card 
80 points = DKK 1,200 gift card 
90 points = DKK 1,400 gift card 
100 points = DKK 1,500 gift card 
Over 100 points = Digital notebook – Remarkable 

You can redeem points once you’ve earned at least 30.

Wellbeing & Mental Sustainability 

Examples:

  • HelloFresh – meal kits

  • Experimentarium – science and discovery
  • Zoological Gardens or Givskud Zoo – nature-focused family activities

Everyday Mindfulness 

Examples:

  • GreenMobility – eco-friendly urban transport 

Gift Card Information:

Your name and email will be shared with the gift card provider only for delivery purposes. Your data will not be used for marketing. 

Gift cards are sent directly to your provided email. 

How It Works:

Earn points – for each course you attend. 
Use points – on the rewards that matter to you. 
Validity – Points are valid for 24 months after earning.
