IDA Learning Terms and conditions

Here you can see terms and conditions when you buy a course through IDA Learning.

IDA Learning is an independent VAT-liable activity under IDA’s CVR number. Therefore, invoices from IDA Learning must be identified with its own SE number and not with IDA’s CVR number, as outlined below.

SE Number: If you operate different businesses under the same legal entity but wish to keep the VAT accounts for each activity separate, you can create administrative units identified by SE numbers.

As shown on this registration certificate (in Danish), SE number 36 01 00 45 is VAT registered, and VAT reporting is carried out under SE number 36 01 00 45, not under IDA’s CVR number.

Registration and Cancellation

Registration
You can register for IDA Learning courses online at ida.dk.

Prices
All prices are listed in Danish kroner and include 25% VAT. This applies even if you are located outside Denmark, as services related to access to events (such as courses, seminars, exhibitions) held in Denmark are always subject to Danish VAT.

Price Includes
The course package includes full catering on all course days and all teaching materials.

Catering for full-day courses consists of breakfast buffet, lunch, afternoon coffee/tea, and water throughout the day.

Accommodation is not included but we can recommend nearby hotels and offer discount agreements with selected hotel chains.

Email Confirmation
Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email at the address linked to your profile.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be made via your profile at mit.ida.dk or in writing to idalearning@ida.dk.

The deadline for cancellation is one month before the course starts unless otherwise stated.

For e-learning courses, cancellation must occur before access details (link, password, etc.) are sent. After this, the purchase cannot be refunded.

After the deadline, you are liable for 100% of the course fee.

If you cannot attend, you may send a colleague instead, but this must be agreed with IDA Learning before the course starts. Send an email to idalearning@ida.dk.

If you cancel before the deadline, the fee will be credited.

Payment Information

When registering for a course, you can choose between the following payment methods: online payment, payment by invoice, or payment via electronic invoice (EAN).

Payment by Dankort/Credit Card on ida.dk (Online Payment)
Payment is made by Dankort or credit card directly when selecting online payment for the course.

When is the amount charged?
The amount is withdrawn from the account linked to the card immediately after the payment is approved.

Receipt
Along with your registration confirmation, you will receive a receipt for your purchase.

Which credit cards can be used?
We accept payment with Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, and American Express from both Denmark and abroad.

Security when paying by credit card
We comply with all the security requirements prescribed by Nets Danmark A/S.

This includes encryption of transfers, encryption of stored information, comprehensive systematic testing, virus protection, and the use of encryption certificates from Verisign.

Payment by Invoice

Sending of Invoice
You will receive an invoice approximately two to three months before the course starts. If you register later, you will receive the invoice within four business days.

We issue invoices individually. If several participants are from the same company, you will therefore receive one invoice per person. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a combined invoice (unless it is an internal company course).

The invoice is sent to the email address provided during registration or electronically via the specified EAN number.

Payment Terms
The payment deadline on IDA invoices is current month + 5 days.

Check Your Information
When registering for a course with invoice payment, you can choose between your registered workplace or an alternative.

Workplace: The workplace registered on your profile will be used for invoicing. If the information is incorrect, update your profile or use the alternative option.

Alternative: You can enter all invoicing details manually.

Please check your company’s invoicing requirements to ensure you receive a correct invoice that your company can approve.

Electronic Invoicing (EAN)
An EAN number is an electronic invoicing number consisting of 13 digits.

All public institutions and some large private companies have EAN numbers used to receive electronic invoices (via NemHandel).

Remember to select EAN invoicing if this applies to your company and enter the EAN number in the field.

Purchase Order / PO
Must be stated in the reference field and no other information should appear except the number itself.

Payment via MobilePay or Bank Transfer

You can pay the course fee via MobilePay or bank transfer.

Funds should be transferred to MobilePay number 36431 (Ingeniørforeningen IDA).

or to the account: Reg: 4183, Account: 3119404886 (Danske Bank).

In both cases, remember to include your IDA member number and invoice number in the payment reference so we can allocate the payment correctly in the system.

Refunds

If you paid online with a credit card when registering, your refund will automatically be credited back to the same card used for payment, so you do not need to take any further action.

If the course fee was paid by your company via invoice, IDA will transfer the amount to your company’s NemKonto.

The refund will, in both cases, be processed within 30 days.

Please note: If a course is canceled, you have the option to transfer the course fee to a later session or request a refund.

Right of Withdrawal
As this concerns participation in an event (a course), the usual right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply. See the cancellation section for details.

If you wish to file a complaint about a course, please contact idalearning@ida.dk or the course manager listed in the course description.
