Peer Group for foreigners working in Denmark
Thriving as an International Professional in Denmark
Most aspects of everyday life are influenced by the local language and culture – including your professional life. As a non-Danish professional, it may therefore require some extra effort to get the most out of your career and work life in Denmark.IDAs peer group provides the opportunity to share experiences and get valuable insights into the work lives and career paths of fellow international IDA members.Because of your similar educational backgrounds, you and the other members will share a common understanding of each other’s professional lives and career paths. This ensures that you can relate to each other’s situations and provide competent feedback.
At the facilitated peer group meetings, you can cover anything from networking with Danes and bonding with colleagues, to career development and the practicalities of transitioning to a new labour market.
Peer Group Meetings Are Confidential and Facilitated
The peer group provides a confidential space where you can follow each other’s development and share insights and experiences. Over time, you will get to know your fellow group members well, and you will be able to give each other tailored advice and feedback.
The group’s facilitators introduce relevant exercises and tools that provide valuable insights into your interests, skills, strengths, and areas for development.

The group is confidential and a safe space for you to discuss current challenges with like-minded individuals who are not personally invested in your workplace.
