Peer groups about career and personal development
IDA Peer groups
The strength of sparring in peer groups
At IDA, we want to give you access to sparring and support no matter where you are in your working life. We therefore offer you the opportunity to become part of a small, confidential group of like-minded people who meet five times a year. At the peer group meetings, you can spar and exchange experiences with others who face the same challenges and dilemmas in their jobs, careers or lives as you do.
The strength of participating in a peer group is that you follow each other in relation to work tasks, new projects and organisational changes. In this way, your peers become your well-informed sparring partners who can pick up where you left off at the last meeting and dig a little deeper.
This means that you will often leave a peer group meeting with an “aha” moment or a new idea that you want to take home and try out, just as you yourself have probably been a source of inspiration for other members.
Volunteer facilitators lead the meetings
The peer groups are planned and facilitated by volunteer IDA members who have been trained as network facilitators in IDA.
You set the topics
In the peer group, we take cases from your own lives as our starting point. The tools we use are sparring, experience sharing, case reviews and visits from guests to the network group who can bring new perspectives to the table. The peer group meetings are for you, and you can suggest topics, cases or presentations that can facilitate a constructive conversation between you at the meetings. The confidential group provides an opportunity to discuss current challenges with like-minded people who do not have a personal stake in your workplace.
Price
The price for participating in five meetings is only DKK 650
