The first job
Your first full time job as a graduate is often characterized by a steep learning curve and a lot of first-time experiences.
The first performance review, salary negotiation, office Christmas party, collegial friendships, and many more.
Doing something for the first time is empowering. And it is also the only way to learn. However, entering unknown territory can be daunting and may even make you second guess your capability.
Maybe you are not sure what is expected of you in terms of workload or work hours. Or perhaps your tasks are uninspiring, challenging, or just not what you expected. No matter what considerations or challenges you have, you are not alone.
IDAs peer group 'The first job' is a confidential space where you can share experiences with others who are in the same situation as you.

The peer group meetings are planned and facilitated by voluntary IDA members as the final part of their course in facilitation. The facilitators are continually supervised by IDA’s professional facilitator.
You choose the themes
The peer group takes a point of departure in cases from your working lives and careers. Our tools are mentoring and discussion, case work and visits from external experts who can contribute with new insights. Your interests serve as the foundation for the peer group, and you can contribute with ideas for subjects, cases or presentations that facilitate a valuable discussion. The group is confidential and a safe space for you to discuss current challenges with like-minded individuals who are not personally invested in your workplace.
Be aware that
The peer group is for IDA-members only and is only set up if an adequate number of people show interest.
