The path to leadership
Get ready to lead in the IDA peer group
A good step on the road to leadership is to map out your ambitions and train yourself to see your career in a new perspective. As a member of the peer group, you will have the opportunity to develop a plan that suits your specific situation and goals, while receiving ongoing support on the challenges you encounter along the way. You will learn to visualise yourself as a manager by delving into important considerations such as
What makes a good leader for me? Why do I want to be a manager? What will I find most challenging about being a manager?
Peer Group meetings are confidential and facilitated
The peer group provides a confidential space where you can follow each other’s development and share insights and experiences. Over time, you will get to know your fellow group members well, and you will be able to give each other tailored advice and feedback.
The group’s facilitators introduce relevant exercises and tools that provide valuable insights into your interests, skills, strengths, and areas for development.
