How to display sustainable development goals on your event
Many of IDA's activities have relevance to the SDGs - and now we can show how
If you, as a volunteer, can see that your event has relevance to one or more of the SDGs, you can now make this visible and indicate to the participants that the event deals with certain SDGs.
Is everything an SDG event now?
No. It is not necessary to consider which sustainable development goal is appropriate for a cheese tasting or bowling trip. But when you work with professional events, there is almost always one or more aspects of the UN Global Goals that are relevant to the event, and it is helpful for both yourself, your potential participants and IDA to highlight these connections at the event.
That's why you have the option to add SDG logos to events in the event system. But if there's no "shoe that fits", then you just have to leave it alone.
You will find all 17 global goals with targets described here.
When you click on the individual goal, you can read more about what the goal and the underlying sub-goals are about, and you can choose the most relevant sub-goals and connect to your event.
It is important that you actively consider the connection between the SDGs and your event if you want to use the logos.
