How to get legal advice from IDA

As member of IDA you can write or call to receive legal counseling. Write to us if you have a document you need us to review. Call us if you have a quick question you need clarified. This way, you get the best and fastest help.

Write to IDA

If you have a document such as a contract, termination notice, or employee handbook that you would like us to review, you should always write to us and upload the documents. In your message, please specify which sections of the documents you need advice on.

The benefits of writing to us:

  • You can continuously add questions, documents and additional information to your case.

  • You will be assigned a dedicated legal advisor throughout the entire process until your case is closed. The advisor will usually also call you to discuss your situation and your options.

 

Call IDA

You should call us when you:

  • Have a quick question that you need clarified.
  • Are in an urgent or stressful situation where you need to speak with an legal advisor. 

If the legal advisor determines during the phone call that your question or situation cannot be resolved immediately, you will be guided to write to us so you can be assigned a dedicated legal advisor for your case.
