Technology is everywhere in our lives. In fact, it is impossible to imagine humanity without technology. It solves problems, but it also undeniably creates them, and it defines our lives for better or worse.

At the Technical Museum of Denmark, you can experience everything from iconic cars, airplanes and bicycles to everyday devices such as computers, game consoles and smartphones – everything that has shaped the way we live. You can see historic cars such as the Hammelvognen from 1888 and the first experiments with electric cars, and you can challenge each other in fun computer games in GAMER.

The Technical Museum of Denmark in Helsingør offers experiences for both children and adults. Here you can explore exhibitions – with historical machines and technological solutions of the future – or you can unleash your creativity in fun activities for children.

How to receive your IDA membership discount

  • You get a 20% discount at the ticket counter as an IDA member.
  • The discount applies to you, as an IDA member, and one companion. There is free admission for children under the age of 18.
  • You must show your IDA member's card at the ticket office to receive your discount on admission. Your member's card is available in the IDA app.
