Welcome to the The Industrial Museum, where you can experience how technology changed the world forever, and what it meant for ordinary people. The museum is a different and living museum, filled with volunteer enthusiasts looking forward to telling you the industrial history of Denmark. Here you can touch, try, play, smell and taste your way through history. You can read more at industrimuseet.dk.

How to receive your IDA membership discount

  • You get a 20% discount at the normal admission price at the ticket counter as an IDA member.
  • The discount applies to you and your family/friends visiting the museum with you as an IDA member. There is free admission for children under the age of 18.
  • You must show your IDA member's card at the ticket office to receive your discount on admission. Your member's card is available in the IDA app.

Enjoy the great experiences

At the Industrial Museum, you can have music in your ears when the museum's volunteers start up engines daily. You can experience the dramatic improvement in working-class living conditions in the apartments from 1883, 1924, 1934, 1955, 1975 and 2000 as well.

You can also explore workshops staffed by volunteer typographers, blacksmiths, lithographers, bookbinders, schoolteachers and bankers, and the kids will love the industrial history playground made by MONSTRUM.
