This event is for you if you've always been intrigued by and interested in hacking, but never got started with it yourself. You might also have heard of Capture The Flag (CTF) events, but never attended one.

You probably have little to no experience with Linux (or specifically the Kali Linux distribution).

During the evening you will get a basic introduction to the Linux environment and basic commands, and we will look at and explore some of the tools and methods used to find vulnerabilities in systems. By the end of the evening you've tried harvesting information out from unsecure websites, performed your first Cross-Site Scripting, and met the "legendary" and online bank "Formal Bank", whose website unfortunately suffers from severe security issues...

There will be lots of hands-on exercies throughout the evening.

There are no pre-requisites to attend - you'll need a computer and an internetconnection. All hands-on exercises runs in a virtual lab hosted online, which is accessed through your browser. Having Linux installed is not required to attend.
