Star Wars-universet har haft vokseværk de senere år, hvor det bl.a. er blevet til syv live action-serier til streamingtjenesten Disney+. 

En af disse var den yderst populære 'The Mandalorian', som de fleste Star Wars-fans nok kan støtte op om, ramte noget af den gamle sci-fi-glød fra de originale film.

Efter tre sæsoner sluttede rejsen med The Mandalorian og Baby Yoda - nu kendt ved sit "rigtige navn" Grogu i 2023. Men kun for at blive fortsat på det store lærred.

Pedro Pascal gentager rollen som den evigt hjelmklædte Mandalorian, mens rollelisten bl.a. udvides med Alien-ikonet Sigourney Weaver og The Bear-stjernen Jeremy Allen White, som spiller ingen ringere end den legendariske karakter Jabba The Hutts søn Rotta.

Det onde Imperium er faldet, og kejserlige krigsherrer er spredt ud over galaksen. Mens den spirende Nye Republik arbejder for at beskytte alt det, som Oprøret kæmpede for, har de fået hjælp fra den legendariske mandalorianske dusørjæger Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) og hans unge lærling Grogu.

'The Mandalorian og Grogu' er instrueret af Jon Favreau, der ligeledes er medforfatter på filmen sammen med Dave Filoni. Det er således de to som i forvejen har været hovedmændene bag tv-serien, samt bl.a. spin-off-serierne 'The Book of Boba Fett' og 'Ashoka'.

The Star Wars universe has been growing in recent years, with seven live-action series for the Disney+ streaming service, among others.

One of these was the extremely popular 'The Mandalorian', which most Star Wars fans can probably support, and which captured some of the old sci-fi glow from the original films.

After three seasons, the journey ended with The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda - now known by his "real name" Grogu - in 2023. But only to be continued on the big screen.

Pedro Pascal reprises his role as the ever-helmeted Mandalorian, while the cast is expanded with Alien icon Sigourney Weaver and The Bear star Jeremy Allen White, who plays none other than the legendary character Jabba The Hutt's son Rotta.

The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords are scattered across the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect all that the Rebellion fought for, they are aided by legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.

'The Mandalorian and Grogu' is directed by Jon Favreau, who also co-wrote the film with Dave Filoni. The two have previously been the masters behind the TV series, as well as the spin-off series 'The Book of Boba Fett' and 'Ashoka'.
