During this 6th session of Data Talks we dive deep into the ambitions, use cases and strategies in the world of Health and Pharma.

Title: Implementing AI on a Danish hospital – Looking inwards and optimising workflows through AI
  
Description: Patients not showing up for appointments is a universal health-care dilemma, that also in Denmark is related to over 5 % of all health-care appointments and in some departments the no-show rate is significantly higher (up to 20 %). The goal with the project is to implement a predictive model in clinical practice to help lower the number of patients not showing up for their appointments. The presentation will go over learnings (Dos and don’ts) from an ongoing AI-project taking place at Bispebjerg Hospital. During the presentation we will cover some of the challenges we have faced e.g. missing interest from clinicians, resistance of change in workflows and quality of the data.

Title: Wearables and AI – What’s new within predictions?

Description:The use and adoption of software in medical treatments is exponentially increasing. Internet of things today offers a wide range of tracking devices, from consumer products to medical devices that aim to enrich and support further analysis.
AI is enabling and supporting decision making for patients and healthcare providers. The presentation will guide you through the exciting world of Software as Medical Device (SaMD). The presenter will also share how Novo Nordisk is pioneering in delivering digital health solutions for patients managing chronic conditions.
