Autumn Conference 2026 – Working Environment, Well-being and Professional Communities
Practical Information
The conference is open exclusively to IDA members employed in the private sector and unemployed members whose most recent employment was in the private sector. A limited number of places are also available for elected union representatives and VG/AK chairpersons and vice-chairpersons in the private sector. Self-employed IDA members are not eligible to participate.
The conference will take place in person at Comwell Aarhus on 2–3 October 2026. Accommodation is available, and the conference includes dinner on Friday as well as breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Travel expenses are reimbursed up to DKK 800 per participant. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellation deadline: 25 September 2026.
Failure to attend without prior cancellation will result in a no-show fee of DKK 500.
Travel expenses can be claimed through this form.

- How we can support a colleague experiencing stress.
- Why stress remains a challenge despite our extensive knowledge of prevention.
- Presentation by Pia Hauge on PausePower and the importance of breaks in working life.
- Quiz about IDA Private.
- Dinner and networking.
Saturday – Working Environment and Communities
- The working environment and IDA’s role.
- The Health and Safety Representative (H&S Representative) in practice.
- How to establish and develop a workplace network group or academic club.
- Dialogue and exchange of experiences on developing strong professional communities.
- Experiences from existing workplace network groups and academic clubs.
- Wrap-up and evaluation.
- Opportunity for continued networking with fellow participants.
English Language Support
English interpretation will be available throughout the conference. A minimum of 12 English participant will be required in order for translation to be offered.
Please note that this is the same conference and the same programme as the Danish version.
