IDA Startup Nights: Female founders navigating the startup journey

Female entrepreneurs face both advantages and challenges in their journey to success. They tend to bring a unique perspective and fresh ideas to their industries, but they also face challenges, including gender bias and unequal access to funding and resources. Many investors tend to overlook female-led businesses, making it more difficult for women to secure funding. This can also impact their ability to scale and grow their businesses.

Despite these challenges, female-founded startups continue to make significant contributions to the economy and society. For this edition of IDA Startup Nights, we have invited three female entrepreneurs who will share their startup story and personal experience on navigating these challenges.

You will meet:

• Rebekka Quistgaard Kølbæk co-founder of Relevō Technology
• Nina Lambæk Nielsen, founder of Maconess Green Equine
• Sandra Aynaddis Strabo, founder of N(Y)OOMOON

Each founder will present her company – what´s the idea, how did she get started, and where is she now on her startup journey. Afterwards, we will explore the topic of being a female founder further, during a panel discussion with the three founders.

You will have plenty of time to ask questions for the startups and network with the other participants during the event.

Time and place: 7 June from 17.00-20.00 at IDA Innovate, Kalvebod Brygge 31, 1560 Copenhagen.

• 17.00: Doors open and drinks
• 17:15: Welcome by IDA
• 17:25: Startup presentations by three female founders + Q&A
• 18:00: Panel discussion: female entrepreneurship
• 18:45: Food, drinks, and networking
• 20.00: Goodbye

Registration: As we wish to create an environment for dialogue and discussions, participation is limited to 45 people and your RSVP is binding. Please note that we will charge a no-show fee of DKK 250, so remember to cancel your registration before 6 June if you change your mind about attending.
