Copper is the go-to choice for high conductivity applications, and that is no different in the world of additive manufacturing (AM), or 3D printing, as it is sometimes called. While AM can be an expensive manufacturing method, its unparalleled design freedom enables the creation of highly valuable, high-performance components. This webinar covers the possibilities and advantages of copper AM, specifically using laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) for optimizing thermal management solutions.

Karl Fischer from the Danish Technological Institute (DTI) will first discuss the current state of copper AM production, including its challenges and opportunities. Then Simon Brudler, also from the Danish Technological Institute, will delve into how AM's design flexibility can be utilized to control heat flow, showcasing examples of design tools and applications. The webinar will conclude with Karl and Simon sharing their insights into the exciting future possibilities of AM for thermal management followed by a QA session.
