08:30: Registration - coffee & croissants
09:15: Welcome with host Marie Høst & Therkel Sand Therkelsen
09.30: The mindset, skillset & toolset for work life
- Louise Opprud, Founder, Work Life Lab
With AI sweeping away up to 70% of tasks in front of a computer in the next 5 years, the most important skills of the decade are now creative and analytical thinking, technological learning and human resilience.
10.05: Learning organizations with AI and tech
- Peter Manniche Riber, Digital Learning, Novo Nordisk
Over the past 18 month, Peter’s team have tested AI prototypes internally, to see what happens when real people interact with visionary ideas. Peter will share learnings from a specific case, where the vision is to connect employees with relevant internal development and career opportunities, based on who they are and what they dream of, through a chat based AI agent. There are multiple lenses to look at this through: Data Privacy, Ethics, Bias, Equity, Accuracy and Efficiency, etc. - and Peter will talk to these from a very pragmatic and practical perspective.

10:30: Break

10:45: AI Agents
- Mads Viktor, Entrepreneur & Expert in AI Technology, Pebble.so
AI assistants are everywhere—from the ones we talk to at home, like Siri, to the powerful tools transforming our workplaces. In this talk, we’ll explore how AI is going from simple helpers to smarter, more capable partners. From chatbots that answer questions to robots that might live in our homes, and from automating tasks to truly learning on the job, see how AI is shaping the future of our daily lives and work.
11:10: Be My Eyes & AI Agents
Christian Erfurt, Co-founder and chief evangelist, Be My Eyes
AI-assisted solutions have taught us how technology can build meaningful bridges between people and create value through connection. With the integration of AI, we now see how specialized assistive tools can evolve into universal assistants that help everyone in their daily lives. How principles from assistive technology can guide the development of more intuitive and inclusive solutions for all. How technology developed for those with the greatest needs often leads the way to innovations that benefit everyone.
11:35: Case: HEKA VR & Panel: Inclusion
- Vibeke Andersen, Simon Lajboschitz - Heka VR & Khora & Alexander Hauerslev Jensen - Google
Vibeke Andersen has participated in the research project Challenge, which uses avatar therapy in Virtual Reality to help people who hear voices and suffer from schizophrenia. The research project began in 2019 as a collaboration between Region H, Region S, Region N, and Khora Virtual Reality. Vibeke is here to share her experience of how avatar therapy in Virtual Reality has helped her.

Afterwards Simon Lajboschitz and Alexander Hauerslev Jensen will participate in a panel debate on the topic of inclusion.

12:10: Lunch

13:00: Spatial Branding
- Kathrine Flemming, Arts and Sustainability Lead, Khora
This talk explores the role of spatial branding in the evolving landscape of immersive technologies. As extended reality (XR) continues to develop, brands must adapt to new, interactive ways of engaging audiences. We will delve into how spatial environments, 360-degree storytelling, and augmented reality are reshaping brand experiences, turning passive consumers into active participants. Learn how XR can create deeper emotional connections, enhance brand loyalty, and offer possibilities for storytelling in the future of digital marketing.
13:25: More than a mannequin
- David Norris, European Head of Creative Strategy, Snap Inc..
In this session we’ll explore the evolving shopping behaviors of today’s consumers and guide you through the opportunities this creates for your brand. From the power of integrated strategies to the unique potential of AR, we’ll discuss how brands can move beyond static 'mannequin' marketing to create dynamic, engaging experiences that capture audience attention and foster more authentic connections.
13:50: Social aware AI
- Paula Petcu, co-founder, Interhuman AI
Can technology help us better understand ourselves and each other? To become more socially connected? What would it take to build a social aware AI that really understands human connections? And what areas of our lives will it impact the most? In this talk, we explore the trends in interactive experiences and the work we're doing at Interhuman AI to progress on our mission of developing social aware AI with expressive avatars that respond to words, tone of voice and body language in real time.

14:15: Break

14:30: Data Security
- Martin Kofoed, Partner & Chief Cyber Security Officer, ITM8
What does a cyberattack look like, who are the attackers, and how do they hack? Should we be worried about new tech like AI and Quantum computing? In this talk, Martin will walk us through how a cyberattack feels when experienced, the tactics and techniques used by modern attackers and answer the big question - do we need to fear the new tech in future attacks?
15:00: Responsible Innovation
- Birgitte Kofod Olsen,  Human Rights Advice, Data Ethics, Democracy X & The Data Ethics Counsel.

About REALITIES:
As digitalization continues to reshape our society and the boundary between the physical and digital blurs, our reality becomes increasingly spatial and synthetically created. It is therefore essential to understand and engage with how these technologies are impacting us. By doing so, we ensure that their societal impact remains within our grasp at the individual, corporate, legislative, ethical, and societal levels. To navigate these transformations effectively, we must stay at the forefront, comprehend the current state of technology, and anticipate what the future holds. It is crucial that we start addressing these issues now because the pace of technological change is accelerating. The decisions we make today will have long-term consequences on how these technologies integrate into our lives, influence our society, and shape the future. By looking into these developments now, we can help steer their growth in a direction that is ethical, inclusive, and beneficial for all.

REALITIES x IDA is your opportunity to dive into the current state of affairs and gain valuable perspective on the future. REALITIES x IDA will unpack this shift and provide insights into how we can navigate these changes responsibly and ethically.

We will explore the future of Spatial Computing and Wearable Technology, examining how new devices are changing the way we interact with digital services and content. As new data types and contextual services emerge, these technologies are becoming more deeply integrated into our daily lives, altering how we engage with both digital and physical worlds.

We'll also delve into the potential of Digital Avatars and AI Agents, which are set to redefine digital assistance. These technologies have the potential to transform work, social interactions, and access to knowledge, fundamentally changing the way we experience support and companionship in our increasingly digital lives.

A key focus will be on Synthetically Created Reality, where we’ll discuss the implications of a future increasingly shaped by AI and synthetic experiences. This raises important questions about content creation and how these innovations influence our perception of reality.

Additionally, we will address the importance of Ethics and Responsible Innovation. As technology continues to augment our world, issues like privacy, data security, and the broader social impact become crucial. REALITIES x IDA will provide a platform to discuss these complexities and how we can ensure that technological advancements are developed and implemented in a responsible and ethical way.

By engaging with these discussions now, participants will be better equipped to navigate the digital future with a deeper understanding of the technologies shaping it, and the societal transformations that come with them.
