Green transition

At IDA, we are working on how Denmark can restructure production and change consumption patterns to promote sustainable development. The UN’s SDGs provide guidance on where the world faces its greatest challenges and where we need to be heading.

IDA’s priority areas within the green transition:

IDA's Climate response

IDA and AAU have drawn up Denmark’s first comprehensive plan to make Denmark climate-neutral in transport and energy by 2045.

Nuclear power

In the green transition, it is important that we take an open-minded approach to which technologies can help tackle climate challenges.

Skills for the green transition

If Denmark is to achieve its climate targets, we need the right skills. That is why IDA is campaigning for a national skills strategy to be drawn up.

Biodiversity and technical facilities

Since 2023, IDA’s expert group has been working to put biodiversity and technical infrastructure on the political agenda.
