Large language models have rapidly evolved from simple code completion tools into powerful development assistants capable of contributing at the architectural level. The key to unlocking this potential is context engineering: the systematic design of instructions, repository context, and workflows that guide LLMs to produce correct, maintainable, and verifiable code.
In this one-hour webinar, you will get a practical introduction to how modern AI-assisted development actually works in professional settings. We will cover how tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and similar systems differ fundamentally from classic tools such as GitHub Copilot, and how developers can orchestrate LLMs to assist with architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and code review.
The webinar combines conceptual explanation with concrete examples, and gives a realistic picture of both the opportunities and limitations of current LLM-based development.
The webinar is aimed at:
- Software developers who want to move beyond autocomplete and use AI more effectively
- Tech leads and architects interested in AI-augmented development workflows
- QA and test engineers curious about AI-assisted testing and verification
- Anyone responsible for evaluating or introducing AI tools in a development team
Ulf Aslak Lai holds a PhD in complex systems and has a background in physics, data science, and software engineering. He previously worked as a postdoc and assistant professor at the Technical University of Denmark and University of Copenhagen, and is now an independent consultant focusing on Bayesian modeling and advanced analytics. Over the past years, he has extensively applied large language models to real-world software development, designing context-engineered workflows that integrate AI deeply into professional codebases.
