Build better backends with AI

In this course, you will work hands-on with how a code agent can be used in backend development — from the first requirements to validation of the finished solution. You will learn to structure your code, sharpen requirements, turn requirements into concrete tasks, and develop in smaller, controlled steps together with an agent.

This course builds on Code smarter with AI. If you have not yet completed that course, we recommend starting there to get the most out of this learning path.

The course is aimed at learners who already have basic experience with coding and AI-assisted development, and who want to use code agents more deliberately in study or work projects.

Along the way, you will work with a concrete case and short activities that help you maintain overview, quality, and accountability while AI supports the development work.

When you have completed the course, you will have a solid foundation for using AI in backend development — and for moving on to frontend in the next course.

After the course, you will be able to:
