How to use GeoGebra more safely and effectively

You will learn how to navigate the user interface, work with geometric tools, connect geometry and algebra, measure and analyze figures, use functions and graphs, and work with CAS and animation.

The course is intended for participants who want a practical introduction to GeoGebra and wish to use the tool more purposefully in teaching, studies, or other professional contexts.

After completing the course, you will have a solid foundation for using GeoGebra for the construction, exploration, and communication of mathematical concepts.

After the course, you will be able to:

  • understand GeoGebra’s key areas of functionality and use the software more confidently and systematically
  • construct geometric figures and work with relationships between objects in dynamic constructions
  • connect geometry and algebra through coordinates, functions, and equations
  • explore mathematical relationships using measurements, graphs, tangents, and intersection points
  • use the CAS tool for symbolic mathematics such as factoring, differentiation, and equation solving
  • save, share, and present constructions in ways that are relevant to educational and professional settings
