Your Project Team Leadership
The leadership of the project team is a key task for you as a project manager. It requires that you understand the people you work with and that you can adapt your approach to their different profiles and needs. In the course we work on how to create psychological security, motivate the team and facilitate collaboration so that the project gets off to a strong start.
Focus on facilitation and team development
The course has a strong focus on facilitation and team development. You will learn how to plan and conduct effective start-up seminars, and you will have the opportunity to test facilitation tools in practice. You will work with High Performance Teams, meeting management, feedback as a development tool and how to create commitment and motivation in the project team.
In addition, we will focus on DEI (diversity, equality and inclusion) in project management, and how you as a project manager can support an inclusive and safe collaborative environment in a project management context.
In the course, we train and reflect on specific methods for team development and project planning. You will also receive specific tools for handling different personality profiles based on the DiSC tool.
The goal is to enable you to manage the project group and stay focused on your management of and collaboration in the team. Especially in the project's start-up phase, so that you get off to a good start. The better you as a project manager get to grips with the project team before the start, the better the conditions are for the project to succeed.
On the course you will work with:
- The project's initial phase
- The high-performance and committed project team
- Motivation and psychological security in the team
- Team development
- Facilitating and meeting management
- Group dynamics and conflict understanding
