About IDA Mathematics
Everyday life is full of mathematics. Every time you use your payment card, encryption ensures that unauthorized persons cannot view your data. The size of your insurance premium is determined based on probability-theoretic considerations. And the GPS system that helps you find your way combines engineering with mathematical calculations.
In IDA Mathematics, we disseminate the latest theories through a collaboration with the mathematics departments at e.g. DTU, University of Copenhagen, Aarhus University and Aalborg University.
We do this, for example, through lectures and courses in mathematical modelling, simulation and numerical calculations and much more.
