Nominate a union rep as Union Representative of the Year 2026

Are you a public-sector employee, and do you have a union representative who builds bridges, improves conditions for colleagues and adds value in the workplace?
If so, you can now honour your union representative by nominating her or him for the ‘Union Representative of the Year 2026’ award.
Who can be nominated for the 2026 Union rep of the year award?
Nominees for the 2026 Union Representative Award must:
- Be a member of IDA
- Be employed in the public sector
- Have been elected as an employee representative
Deadline for nominations: 28 October 2026 at 12.00.
Members of IDA Public Sector, IDA’s Board of Representatives, IDA’s Executive Committee, the Steering Committee, the Council of Employees and IDA’s political committees are not eligible for nomination for the award.
What will the Union rep of the year win?
The union representative of the year will receive a beautiful diploma and a gift voucher worth DKK 5,000.
The award will be presented at the TR conference on 5-6 November 2026 at IDA in Copenhagen. The selected winner must be present at the award ceremony.
As a thank you for your (motivated) nomination, you will receive a bag of IDA sweets for your workplace.
